The circular dial recorder was made for various station recording capacities up to 30, and for surveillance periods of 12 hours and 24 hours. The recorder is shown here housed with an independent Seth Thomas No. 2 regulator. This was a popular combination in the early period before synchronous electric clocks took over time-telling chores in industrial and commercial work places.
